The last couple of years I've been really getting back into playing golf, I mean obsessed. I try to play at least 2 or 3 times a week if not more. Obsessed to the point that other than the few trips to the fish camp in Montana I haven't really fished in 2 years and I live in pretty good fish country. My brother, H Scott has been talking about a fishing trip this coming season to fish for native Cutthroats. Now Cutts have always been my favorite trout species, though I haven't fished for them since I moved from Colorado to Idaho. The thought of wading small intimate streams for these beautiful fish has me excited about fishing again and maybe taking some time away from golfing. I like to fish Bamboo and although I already have a few very nice rods, this trip has me picking through my parts and pieces to build a rod especially for this trip. I'm thinking a 6' 2 or 3 weight. I've found the rod sections and ordered the ferrules to build up an 2 piece 2 tip rod. I've been collecting Bamboo rod sections for a few years now and finally will put some of them to use thanks to my Brother and his Cutthroat proposition.
